While most conventional ECG-electrodes are based on a hydrogel with silver chloride salt, our technology enables replacement of the gel by a dry adhesive.

Potential benefits include longer shelf life, less costly packaging, and less skin irritation. Improved patient comfort through avoidance of skin irritation can also open for long-term monitoring and wider applications.

Wearable Patches

The material designed for use in ECG electrodes can serve as an excellent interface material between skin and any diagnostic device that is monitoring electric signals from the body, like EEG and EMG, and monitoring related to sports performance.

A huge and growing application area is wearable patches; small devices attached to the skin, directly sensing and monitoring signals from the body.
